Expanding Health
Services and Wellness Options Close To Home
Whether you’re experiencing a medical emergency or simply in need of
a little TLC, the proximity of hospitals and health-care
professionals is vitally important to your quality of life. Now,
McKinney residents have more convenient choices than ever for
maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
MEDICAL CENTER OF MCKINNEY
Medical
Center of McKinney (MCM) has been building strong health-care
foundations in the community for more than 80 years. Highly trained
physicians, clinical excellence and consistent customer satisfaction
are the foundations that allow MCM to continue to meet the growing
health-care needs of McKinney and area residents.
Recently,
American Heart Association / American Stoke Association (AHA)
recognized MCM for delivering care with most up-to-date scientific
guidelines in coronary artery disease, stroke and heart failure.
Over the last
several years, MCM has strengthened its medical foundations and
enhanced it acute care services by adding a number of comprehensive
specialty services previously unavailable in the community.
As an
Accredited Chest Pain Center, MCM employs board certified emergency
medicine physicians and cardiologists trained to provide rapid
therapy to patients experiencing chest pain. MCM is also the only
hospital in Dallas and Collin County that has achieved the Joint
Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval certification for its hip and
knee replacement program.
With its
private delivery and postpartum suites, MCM offers parents the
comfort of knowing a Level II nursery, which provides care to babies
born prematurely and to those born with complications is just steps
away from the delivery rooms.
